A Touch of Green

What better way to kick off a day than coffee and a book?!?

Base

Primer - Pore Fessional
Bronzer - Hoola by Benefit

Eyes

All over lid - 'Dreamy' from MUA Undress Me Too Palette I smoked it out and then applied it the outer half of my lower lash line

Lips

I've been trying to change up my eye shadow lately and get a little bit more creative with it. I love the way green and brown help to bring out my eyes. The green is pretty subtle but it's a start for me, I promise I will start creating more interesting looks haha. Also, my fluffy baby pink jumper is from George at Asda I may or may not have stolen it from my mum's wardrobe...thanks mum ;)

The skirt is from H&M!! They're my favourite.

Have a good day and let me know what kind of posts you'd be interested in seeing on my blog in the future.

Spring Outfit Ideas

I know, I know Christmas has just past and Spring is still a few months away but all the shops have started getting their pastel and spring-y clothes in so I thought I'd make a few outfits that I will be saving up to buy!!

Tops - Miss Guided
Skirt - Boohoo
Heels - Boohoo

I thought up this outfit in my head and then went on the hunt to find what I pictured and this perfect. I love the midi skirts from Boohoo they're so cheap and come in a whole range of colours. I think the mesh cut outs in the top add a bit of spice to this simple outfit. This would look so classy for an evening out or could be dressed down by adding some white converse. To make this a real pastel dream you could even pair it with a mint green or baby blue coat like this one from Miss Guided. This outfit would be adorable in spring and summer.

Denim Jacket - Miss Guided
Top - Asos
Riding Pants - American Apparel  in Taupe and Pink Cheeks
Boots - Boohoo

I saw a picture on tumblr that featured a denim jacket and I have wanted one ever since. I think the collar adds such a cool spin on the traditional denim jacket. I think the whole outfit would look gorgeous with the taupe riding pants, especially in spring the outfit would look very pretty with the blush pink coloured pants. I have always wanted a pair of riding pants so hopefully I will purchase a pair this year OR if you guys know anywhere that do cheaper dupes let me know, that would be amazing! I think if I owned this outfit I'd never take it off haha!

Let me know what you thought about the outfits in the comments below and what one would you wear?

Easy DIY Nail Art

I thought I would share with you guys my go to nail art. It requires no special tools and it takes 5 minutes to do!

All you will need is white nail polish, a selection of coloured nail polish, nail varnish remover, cotton buds and a piece of card to mix the nail polish and the remover together.

I used:

First off paint all your nails white and wait for them to dry.

Put your first colour on the piece of card, dip the cotton bud in nail polish remover and the dip it in the nail polish. Mixing the nail polish and nail polish remover dilutes the nail polish this helps all the colours you're about to apply mix together.

Repeat the previous step with all your colours, you could leave it here but I love finally applying white over the top using the same technique because it really just sets the look.

That is it! So simple, so easy, I love doing this nail art because it looks like it should take longer but it honestly doesn't! Try it out and let me know how it works for you. -Emma, xoxo

Let Me Go

Kimono - Primark          Tank Top - H&M          Skirt - New Look

Hey guys!! In my last post I received some lovely comments on my kimono so I thought I would share where I purchased it from and how I styled it. I have been wanting a kimono for the longest time and when I saw this one in Primark for £7(!!!) I had to get it. It also is available in black which I think I will purchase too! I decided to wear all black with it so the kimono popped, I did have on the little black ankle boots I own from New Look but for some reason I didn't have them on in the pictures hahaha.

Hope you have had a lovely week. Cheers to the weekend!!!

I Recommend...Nail Candy

I am so into nail art it's just all about finding the time and a design easy enough for you to create. For Christmas I received  this nail art book and it is fantastic! It has so many different designs that are unique, some are easier to recreate than others but with practise they will be easy. The book contains 50+ designs and each page contains pictures and step by step instructions which are so simple to follow.

Where Can I Find This?

I can't wait to play around with this book more and if you guys want me to do tutorials out this book on my blog let me know?!

ALSO, shall this series be called 'I Recommend' or 'Em/Emma Recommends'?

Storm

Eyes

Waterline - Black from Sleek

Cheeks

Lips

I have been really loving the Sleek Storm Palette and I am still playing around with all the different colours and combinations. This red colour in particular is so pigmented and applies lovely! My gorgeous friend Amanda sent me over some Bath and Body Works lip glosses which I was so so excited about, this vanilla one is so yummy and it makes your lips feel so good!

Have you tried any of the Sleek palettes out, let me know which ones you love! - Emma, xoxo
