Vegas Skies

Blazer - New Look // Top - New Look // Skirt - H&M

I am such a big fan of pairing pastel colours with greys I think they go hand in hand. The blazer actually belongs to my mum hahah and it is double my size but I like the oversized boyfriend style it creates. I always wear these H&M skirts, they're very basic and inexpensive plus they match everything and are so easy to throw on but look like you've made an effort. Also, thank you so so much for the positive comments on my last post about Youtube it's so encouraging :)

If you want to see more pictures from me you guys should defos follow my Instagram @emmmairving I try to upload daily on there.

Thank you for reading and following me :)

Hiya my loves, bit of a random post but I was wanting to get you guys opinion on me starting to make youtube videos. For the longest time I've wanted to make videos because I have so many ideas of different videos I'd like to make but I always back out due to many factors such as, 'will anyone watch?', 'will people like me?', 'will anyone understand my accent (Scottish)?'...but despite that I still really would love to make videos. I get comments daily in real life and on my Instagram *@emmmairving* asking if I make Youtube videos or telling me I should start and these comments really make me want to. I guess the point in this post is to ask if you guys think I should start making videos and would you watch? I do have a channel which I guess you could subscribe to just now .

Let me know what you think in the comments as I'd really appreciate it and if you have a youtube channel let me know what it is so I can go check it out :)

Have a lovely day xoxo

Spring Makeup To Make Blue Eyes Pop

I really wanted to have glowing skin for this look to really give me a fresh faced look to achieve this I used the Benefit Porefessional Primer and MeMeMe Beat the Blues Highlighter as a primer. The Pore fessional helps my makeup on all day and the highlighter gives really subtle glow to the skin. For foundation I wore the Benefit Hello Flawless which is perfect for spring/summer as it is not too heavy. To cover up my under eye circles and any blemishes I applied the Benefit Boi-ing Concealer and over the top to set it all I dusted some of the Benefit Powder all over. To contour I put into use my Benefit Hoola Bronzer. On to eyes:

I filled in my brows with the Seventeen Brow's That Kit which I love. As a base I used the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 'On and On Bronze' this helps the eye shadows last longer and gives them something to stick to. From Naked 2 I use 'Tease' as a transition colour through the crease and blend that out. All over my lid I use 'Sp"ice"y' Bling Tone by Myface Cosmetics it is such a beautiful bronze colour with a bit of sparkle through it, I also put this in the outer corner of the lower lash line to create depth. Using a colour that contrasts to your eye colour really helps your eye colour pop, for insistence I feel like when green eyes wear a smoky black eye their eyes really pop. From the MUA Under Me Too Palette I take 'Dreamy' then I apply it through the crease to deepen it up, along with that colour I used 'Busted' from Naked 2 through the crease as well. I lined my upper water line with a black eye liner from Natural Collection, I didn't apply liner to the lower water line as I thought that would darken the look and it wouldn't be a fresh. To give my lash line more volume I put 'Backout' from Naked 2 along the upper lash line and just on the outer corner of the lower lash line. To brighten up the inner corners of the eyes I used my favourite brightening eye shadow by Daniel Sandler in 'Ice'. To give me some false looking lashes I use They're Real by Benefit.

For the lips I wanted to keep up the bright and fresh theme so I went with a simple Nivea Pearl Shine which hydrated my lips while looking like a beautiful colour.

As you guys probably already know I am obsessed with pastel colours and this lilac dress from Miss Guided complements this look perfectly. I added this coral belt (no clue where it's from sorry) to give the dress a bit of shape and add a pop of colour, hands up if you think I've said 'pop' far too much in this post haha.

Hope you all have a lovely day

Inexpensive Makeup Brush Set Review + Demo

Hiya guys, a few weeks ago I was contacted by Tmart asking if I'd like a brush set sent to me to try out and of course I said yes! I had never actually heard of this site until a few weeks ago. It sells so many different things from makeup accessories to gadgets all at very reasonable prices. It took just over a week for my package to arrive also, Tmart ship worldwide for free!

The set I received was this adorable pastel pink one. This set retails for £5.71, knowing that it wasn't a very expensive set I wasn't expecting very much but I was pleasantly surprised. I think the exterior is so cute it is such a pretty design. The roll is clipped together with a magnetic button which makes the item feel more luxurious. This set would be brilliant for travelling as it contains every brush you'd need to do your makeup which is super handy. When I took the big fluffy brush out I ran it along my hand and could not believe how soft it was. I did all my makeup using this kit and here is how I got on -

Using the big fluffy brush I applied my L'oreal True Match Foundation in Ivory. The brush was extremely light on my face and blended the foundation around my face evenly. It did not leave any streaky foundation lines on my face which is amazing because I hate them! It actually felt pretty relaxing putting my foundation on. It also does not shed any brush hairs on my face which is a big bonus, nothing more annoying than putting your foundation on then having to pick out brush hairs from it. I also put on my Benefit Boi-ing Concealer in 01 on with my fingers as I find the product melts into the skin better that way.

Next, I took the fan brush with the Benefit 'I Love Me' Powder on it and dusted it all over my face. This brush is such a fab shape for getting into all areas of the face.

Taking my favourite bronzer Hoola by Benefit and the angled face brush I contoured my cheek bones and jawline. This brush picks up the perfect amount of product and because it is so light and fluffy is creates and really nice natural looking contour. It also fits into the hollows of my cheeks perfectly.

I combed through my brows then took the small angled brush and used it to apply my Seventeen Brow Kit. One thing I didn't like about the angled brush is it didn't pick up that much product meaning I had to go over my brows a few times however, some people may see that as a plus. I did love how the shape of the brush aided me in creating my desired brow shape.

I wanted to keep my eyes simple and easy therefore I used the MUA Innocence Eye shadow Trio. All over the lid I applied the medium colour with the biggest shadow brush. This helped apply the colour evenly, fast and it blended it out softly. I took the pointy brush, which wasn't really a brush it was more of a solid sponge, and applied the darkest colour through my crease. This brush gave me more precision when applying the colour, it also gave it more of a smoky look. I used this brush also to apply that dark colour to the outer corner of the lower lash line. I added a little bit of the lightest colour to the small brush and patted that in my inner corner to open up my eyes. Also, I wanted to mention how much I love this shadow trio and I'd really recommend it, it is amazing quality for the price, easy for travelling and can create so many different looks. I can't find the trio on the website so I am unsure if the still do them but MUA do lots or palettes I also recommend checking out.

I applied two coats of  Maybelline Falsies to my top and bottom lashes. I do like this mascara however, it does smudge around a bit before it dries.

I love love love the fact the lip brush comes in a little container, it is so cool! I thought I'd go a little bit nude with lips today so I put on my MUA Lipstick in Shade 7. I'm not really a huge fan of lipstick brushes I only really use them for red lipstick but this one was really helpfully in creating a clean lip look.

All in all I really loved this set. I contains a bit of everything and would be perfect for travelling. The hairs don't shed which gets a big thumbs up from me. They're soft, affordable and PINK so what more could you ask for?

Hope you guys enjoyed this post.
Have a fab day, Em xoxo.

See You Soon

Hello my lovely lot! If you read my previous post you will know that I graduated from high school. Crazy. This is the outfit I wore to my Valedictory/Graduation. I got this beautiful paisley print dress from Rare London I had never actually heard of this website until I was frantically trying to search for a dress last minute as usual. I did pay almost £50 for this dress so I did expect high quality and I was not disappointed. The dress was beyond comfy and the lace panel on the back was such a beautiful feature. The paisley print incorporates pastel colours which are my absolute favourite. I can see me wearing this again in summer as it can be totally dressed down which I love! For shoes I wore my beloved eBay Wedges that are so comfy which is actually the main reason I wore them. I never really go all out with jewellery but I wore my Tiffany & Co. Bracelet which I love to put on for special occasions.
I so many complements about my hair in my last post and I thought I'd mention what I used on it. I washed it the night before with the Tresemme Healthy Volume Shampoo. The next morning I separated it into sections and curled small pieces, this makes my hair look more thick and voluminous. I don't touch my hair until it is all cool and then I shake it out to loosen the curls. Next I apply the Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo this stuff is incredible at giving my hair texture and volume. Finally I set it all with the Wella Silvikrin Classic Hairspray in 5 I am not a big user of hairspray so I'll use any old brand that does the trick!

I do hope you enjoyed seeing my outfit, let me know what you think in the comments and make sure you follow me on Instagram for regular pictures @emmmairving .
Have a fab day - Emma, xoxo

Goodbyes Just Mean I'll Miss You

Last week was my last week of high school ever. Kind of hard to believe because in my eyes I'm still too young to be growing up and living in the real world. I am so gutted about leaving my friends because so many are moving away and doing their own thing BUT this is the makeup I wore to valedictory (graduation).

Concealer - Boi-ing "01" by Benefit
Bronzer - Hoola by Benefit
sorry about the all the Benefit products hahaha

Thanks A Latte by Benefit through the outer half of the eye
Busted from Naked 2 through the crease
Barry M Dazzle Dust in '39' all over the inner half and along lower lash line
Blackout from Naked 2 along lash line & outer half of the lower lash line
For mascara I used They're Real by Benefit
For brows I used the Seventeen Brow's That!
Again sorry for all the benefit products I swear they don't sponsor me I just wanted to use some high quality products for this special occasion.

I actually didn't wear anything on my lips just a bit of  lip balm.

I will have an outfit post about what I wore up soon so stay tuned for that! Also, if you don't follow my Instagram you should check it out @emmmairving.
