June Favourites

June hasn't been one of the best months for many reasons such as prom and parties, yet one of the worst as my darling Granny passed away last week. I don't want to fall behind with my blog so I will do my best to keep posting.

I knew that I'd love this as soon as I bought it because I'm sure a big fan of the XXL Dry Shampoo. This stuff gives my hair so much body and texture which I love. I would however say I think in future I'll stick to the dry shampoo version as I do like using dry shampoo more in my hair in between washes.

Before & After

I will always stand by this being my favourite mascara of all time. It is just perfection in every way. It makes my lashes longer, fuller, darker and the black does not smudge under my eyes. I always buy the mini size but I think I might have to invest in the bigger size as it is well worth the money.

I only bought this concealer because there was no Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in stock but I actually have to admit I prefer this to the Collection concealer. It is so fab for under eye circles and blends out so easily and lasts ages.

I have been a huge fan of using this liner along my top lash line, I don't really wing it out I just line the lashes to make it look thicker. It lasts all day and doesn't smudge after its dried. The formula is so creamy and easy to work with and that's what makes it my favourite gel liner.

I think I must have wore this eye shadow everyday for the past 10 days hahah. Any time I wear this I get complements and asked what I've got on. It's so quick and easy to put on yet it looks like you've spend a lot of time on your eye makeup.

Muller Corner Strawberry Shortcake Yoghurt

Bit random but I love this flavour of yoghurt so much, it is so so tasty. I actually think I eat too many of these but they're so amazing and I recommend you all go out and buy these.

100% my current favourite nail polish combo at the moment. It is very effortless but it looks super pretty on. The rimmel polish dries really fast too which is faaaaaab!

This dye is a conditioning dye that washes out after a few washes so they're super fun just to play about with and add a little pop to your hair. I have had a mint green one on for over a week now and it is fading slowly but it's sure a cute colour that's the 'sea punk' one.

Ed Sheeran 'X' Album

YESSS ED!!!! I have been waiting so so long for this album to come out and it is incredible. Download Spotify and get listening to this album you will not regret it. My faves from this would have to be 'Thinking Out Loud' and 'Nina' but they are all amazing. It's one of those albums where you don't ever have to skip a song.

I'm going to try my best to blog more so make sure you follow me on here and on Instagram - @emmmairving - for regular posts.

What have been some of your favourites this month?

Have a fab July, - Emma xoxo

Saturday, 14 June 2014

Aaaaah so on Tuesday it was my school leavers/prom and I thought it would be really fun to show you everything I wore and how I done my makeup and hair.

I had my hair washed, blow dried and then curled with GHD straighteners at a local salon. The curl held amazingly and I they were still perfect the next day.

For makeup I started with the eyes -

Base - Maybelline Color Tattoo 'On and On Bronze'
All over- 17 eye shadow in 'Mardi Gras'
Outer Half and Outer Half of Lower Lash Line- Naked 2 'Snakebite'
Inner Half of eye and Lower Lash Line - Barry M Dazzle Dust in 'Tan'
Inner Corner - Naked 2 'Verve'
Deep Crease - 'Busted' Naked 2
Centre of lid - Barry M Fine Glitter '15'
Tide line and Water line liner - Revlon Colorstay
Lash Liner liner - Rimmel Gel Liner
Mascara - They're Real by Benefit
Brows - Seventeen Brow's That

Foundation - Maybelline Fit Me
Concealer - 17 for under eyes and Boi-ing by Benefit on blemishes
Bronzer - Hoola by Benefit

Lips - Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm ' Elusive'

The dress itself is from Vogue Prom Dresses which I thought would be a scam website but I got convinced it wasn't and it really wasn't! The dress came in the perfect colour, I got it in the colour 'sage' and exactly the same as the picture on the website, it did need taken up and in but that was an easy fix. It's no longer available on the site but :(

The shoes were from eBay and we so comfy to wear. The red bottoms reminds me of Louboutin's ;)

On my nails I have Barry M 'Diamond Glitter' on and my bracelet is from Tiffany & Co.

Also I swear I got my tan did professionally, I'm not too sure as to why it went so dark on my hands hahah.

How gorgeous is my friends lace baby pink dress??? I'm so in love with it.

Hope you're all having a fab day, let me know if you've had your prom and if so link me to any blog posts or your Instagram so I can be nosey and see pictures :) I also have more pictures on my Instagram (@emmmairving) so check them out x

Boots Haul

Last minute prom rush led me to buy more than what I needed haha! I've decided to do my own makeup so I picked up a few bits for that :) *Please excuse my makeup less face and spray tanned hands haha*

 They're real by Benefit - £9.95

This is 100% my fav mascara so I decided to re purchase a fresh one for prom. I love this because it doesn't smudge black under my eyes which is fab.

In Boots they had ran out of the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer so they lady said a lot of people had been buying the Seventeen one instead so I picked it up too to give it a go. They were having 3 for 2 on so I decide to pick up and eyeshadow for me and buy my mum a lip gloss.

I'm looking forward to trying out this black eye liner in my water line and seeing how long it lasts.

Bleach London were having a 3 for 2 deal so I thought I'd just go for it and pick up some of their products. This mask sounded really good for repairing the damage the bleach from my ombre had caused.

Bleach London Semi - Permanent dye in Rose and Sea Punk - £5

I'm going to dye my hair these pastel colours after prom is out of the way, hopefully they'll turn out pretty cute.

I'm such a big fan of the XXL Dry Shampoo and I got very excited when I saw this and decided to buy it to give it a go, with all these products I'll let you guys know how I get on.

Hope you are having a fabbbbb day and I'll have my prom post up next :)
